I came up with this theme because… i love sleeping.
It’s also a metaphor for people mis-behaving on the train and forgetting their manners. Such As: drugs, manspreading, lady barricades, manicures, pedicures and pornography.
Plus, it gets a reaction from some people implying i’m invading their privacy by taking a pic of them sleeping. My apologies. But i beg to differ.
Once your eyes go to sleep on the street, you’re street meat. WAKE UP!!!!!
I got arrested when I was 15 for writing graphitti in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. So my street art career ended quite early in my artistic journey. Sill a fan of Revs, Cost, Banksy, Space Invader, Hektad, Peter Missing, Os Gêmeos (The Portugese Twins) and the artists in NYC who risk incarceration to make our city look more interesting and alive.
